The Smugglers Den is renowned for our live music events, recently voted as one of the top Open Mic venues in Essex.
On Saturdays we are lucky to have a selection of the best live bands around, admission to these events is always free.
On Sunday afternoons we have live entertainment generally more suited to a lazy afternoon to chill and relax and enjoy some tunes.

Open Mic Night
Wednesday is Open mic night, currently we are running every other Wednesday. For bands we have a full back line with Drums Amplifiers and PA with sound desk and Steve on the sliders, at front of house we have the fantastically talented Jay West who will make sure all performers are catered for either individually or even with others on spec!
Karaoke Night
Friday Night is Karaoke night With Richie T. This free entry evening is an opportunity to watch singers doing their thing, or join in and have a go for yourself, kiddies enjoy singing with Richie too, families are always welcome.
Sunday Afternoons
On Sunday afternoons we have live entertainment generally more suited to a lazy afternoon to chill and relax and enjoy some tunes, this varies week to week but currently we have Stevie B playing for all tastes every first Sunday, and the fantastically talented Napa Swan every second Sunday, we will also be seeing Jay west and Friends throughout the year.
